DEFENSIVE DRIVING (Driving Safety Course) is approved by Texas Education Agency
for traffic ticket dismissal. It also approved by the State Board of Insurance for automobile insurance discount.
Drug and Alcohol Awareness Program (DADAP) is used in conjunction with minors in possession of alcohol, minors under the influence,
and other alcohol/drug related offenses related to Class C misdemeanors. DADAP is approved and certified by Texas Education
Agency. This is a one day program. However, instruction can be provided in two 3-hour sessions. Texas Youth Tobacco
Awareness and Cessation Program- TYTAP (Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program) is responsible for ensuring that Texas youths
are able to complete a tobacco awareness course as mandated by the 75th Texas Legislature through the Texas Health & Safety
Code. This program is a total of 8 hours and is conducted in four sessions as regulated by the Texas Department of State Health
Services. Alcohol Education Program for Minor AEPM is a six-hour course for minors exhibiting high risk behaviors
related to the use of alcohol and is certified by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. The instructions for the
AEPM curriculum is presented in two 3-hour sessions. (Referral is made for DSHS' AEPM, DWI, DOEP.) ANGER MANAGEMENT
